-If the unit does not have connectivity to the satellites it will display 999 -If you are more than 999 yards from the golf course it will display 999
-If you are on the correct course/hole and you are still getting 999 it might be because the golf course file that was downloaded was not transferred correctly.

Yes, each customer will have the capability to download one golf course for a 45-day trial. After this you will need to purchase a 1-year membership for $34.99 through iGolf. This will give you the ability to download golf courses globally for one price.

You need to make sure the Golf Course(.bop) files are saved in the Yardage Pro folder. This folder is located under My Documents/Bushnell/Yardage Pro. Be sure

DO NOT open golf course files downloaded from iGolf. The files downloaded cannot be opened and contain no useful information. They are designed to be saved to a computer and transferred to a compatible Bushnell device.

If the Bushnell Golf GPS is not receiving satellite reception, we need to reset the unit. Disconnect the battery and re-connect it. Make sure that we are in clear view of the sky, if there is not a clear view the unit it will have difficulty connecting to the satellite signal.

The GPS credits included with a paid membership to iGolf.com are used to download pre-mapped golf source files. Each unique GPS Course file you download requires one credit. Repeated downloads do not require additional credits. There is a limit of 25 downloads in a 24 hour period. If a golf course is not pre-mapped, you may use a Map credit to request the course be added to our database. To submit a request, locate the golf course in our data base and select Request from within the GPS courses section of iGolf.com

(/Users/Username/Documents/Bushnell/Neo) The sync application will transfer the files from your Mac to the GPS unit.

The Sync Software requires for transferring files in customized for each iGolf compatible device. The settings which the software requires downloaded files to be stored in a specific location to function correctly. The following is an idea of how to organize downloaded files you have both a Neo and a Yardage Pro XG. The same format can be applied for any products combination you have.

-Create folder in Bushnell folder named Neo (C:/Bushnell/Neo)

If you have a Mac OS X 10.6 or higher with Intel processor you will be able to install the Sync application to download golf courses and transfer them to the golf GPS.

1. Plug USB cable into computer
2. Click on your Start Menu and select Control Panel.
3. Open System and select the Hardware tab.
4. Select the Device Manager.
5. Click on the + sign next to Ports and right-click on Prolific USB to serial Com Port.
6. Go to Properties and select the Port setting tab.
7. Select the 'Advanced' button and from the COM Port Number drop-down menu, select a COM between 1 and 9 and not in use.
8. Click OK when given the option, and exit out of everything. Unplug the USB cable, plug it back into the same port, and attempt to transfer again.
